What we do
Unique expertise: three ranges for the future of viticulture
The ENTAV by IFV & INRAE brand is looking firmly to the future with new ambitions and an expanded range, always committed to excellence in viticulture.

Towards a broader range of selections
After 60 years and more than 1,300 approved clones on the market, we are now broadening our range.
For major grape varieties, the aim is to develop the range so that everyone can find the selection best suited to their needs.
With our partners, we also aim to bring regional grape varieties - some long forgotten - back into the spotlight, as interest in this rich heritage continues to grow.
We will also continue to source foreign grape varieties, mainly from the Mediterranean region, to make them available to industry. They offer significant potential for adaptation to soil and climate conditions.
Rootstock is also a priority: selection is already underway for material registered abroad, with suitability currently being assessed by our partners at Sélection Vigne.
Our range is expanding to offer a broader choice of varieties, all thoroughly tested for agronomic and technological performance. With ENTAV Selection, you can be confident of choosing plant material that meets your needs.

Pioneering tomorrow’s varieties
ENTAV’s Innovation range stems directly from breeding work to develop new varieties capable of meeting the future challenges of viticulture.
In response to climate change, the need to reduce plant protection products, and evolving market demands, we offer innovative solutions that support more sustainable viticulture while safeguarding vineyard competitiveness.
These innovative varieties have been developed for greater resistance to fungal diseases. A first generation of varieties, known as RESDUR and developed by INRAE, is already available on the market.
From 2032, this range will expand to include varieties with regional characteristics, developed through a breeding programme involving IFV, INRAE and the wine industry associations.

Preserving and promoting wine heritage
Since the 2000s, promoting the diversity of our unique heritage has been central to our mission. We help preserve grapevine heritage through 180 regional conservatories safeguarding more than 20,000 accessions.
At Partenaires de la Sélection Vigne (Vine Selection Partners), we have been committed to promoting our diversity of grape varieties for over 20 years. Our commitment to preserving this rich heritage remains unwavering. This unique initiative has already led to the creation of more than 180 conservatoires. Today, developing the ENTAV by IFV & INRAE brand with a strengthened ‘heritage diversity’ range sourced from these conservatories is a valuable opportunity. Our network and expertise are the strongest guarantee that we can meet the needs of this new development in the plant material sector.
